Thanks to the Advocacy (ADV) committee for drafting these templates. Please fill out your name, email, and phone number before sending to your alma mater to propose cannabis education!

    Medical States

    Hello,

I am a member of the International Society of Cannabis Pharmacists (ISCPh), a non-profit member-based organization dedicated to the unification of the pharmacy profession on the subject of Cannabis in support of public health. Cannabis use is becoming an increasingly popular therapeutic modality for a wide variety of symptoms and conditions. Despite its widespread use, pharmacists are not adequately prepared to counsel on the established safety and efficacy of medical cannabis to patients in the community.

Therefore, I would like to propose pharmacist-centered cannabis education that could include an elective for existing pharmacy students and/or a continuing education course for students, alumni, and staff. If you have questions or would like more information, I can be reached via email at (your email) or by phone at (your phone number). Thank you for your consideration.

    States allowing for Adult Use

    Hello,

I am a member of the International Society of Cannabis Pharmacists (ISCPh), a non-profit member-based organization dedicated to the unification of the pharmacy profession on the subject of Cannabis in support of public health. With the legalization allowing for adult use and the lack of healthcare professional involvement, more users are turning to their local community pharmacies to obtain clinical information on the safe and appropriate use. Despite its widespread use, pharmacists are not adequately prepared to counsel on the established safety and efficacy of medical Cannabis.
